Controller Based Wi-Fi
WLAN controllers are physical computer devices that are rack mounted in the school or library’s core data room and communicate with each AP at the same time. Controller based Wi-Fi devices are typically deployed in rollouts that require a more feature rich local Wi-Fi control experience in complex computer networks. Local Wi-Fi controllers allow for easy and quick configuration of multiple AP’s without having to manually configure each one. It also eliminates the need to re-architect your wired network to host a WLAN in certain instances.
